The flame-retardant silicone sealing component of the communication junction box is a key accessory to ensure stable transmission of fiber optic network signals. It is mainly used for environmental protection at the fiber optic cable joints and has core functions such as waterproofing, dust prevention, corrosion prevention, mold prevention, and bacteria prevention. It is suitable for various complex installation scenarios such as overhead, direct burial, and pipelines. Its flame-retardant performance can improve the safety of equipment in high temperature or fire risk environments.
Core Performance and Technical Characteristics

Flame retardant grade: Made of UL94 V-0 grade flame retardant silicone material, it can effectively suppress flame spread after curing and meet the high safety standards of electronic devices.
Sealing protection: IP68 protection level is achieved through a compression type silicone sealing ring, with a temperature resistance range of -40 ℃~+80 ℃, which can adapt to extreme weather conditions and prevent moisture and dust from entering and causing fiber attenuation.
Physical properties: After solidification, the colloid hardness reaches Shore A 20~60, the tensile strength is ≥ 2MPa, the elongation rate is 50%~150%, and it has both elasticity and structural stability, which can buffer the mechanical stress at the optical cable joint.
Insulation performance: Volume resistivity ≥ 1 × 10 ¹⁴Ω· cm, breakdown voltage 18-20kV/mm, can ensure communication signal transmission without electromagnetic interference.
Typical application scenario
Communication fiber optic cable junction box: used for sealing and protection of fiber optic fusion joints, with a standardized fiber bending radius (≥ 40mm) to reduce signal loss.
Electronic component fixation: Suitable for bonding and flame retardant protection of high-power circuit board capacitors, inductors, and other components, and can also be used for sealing shell frames and sealing holes and gaps.
Adaptation to harsh environments: Supports installation methods such as underground, overhead, and pipeline, especially suitable for outdoor communication scenarios with heavy rain, high humidity, and large temperature differences.
