Silicone rubber sheet 03
I. Raw Material Description
The core base material of cloth‑reinforced high‑temperature‑resistant silicone sheet is selected from special high‑temperature‑resistant silicone raw materials with Shore hardness of 40‑80 degrees, which are food‑grade / industrial‑grade high‑purity compounded silicone rubber. It features zero impurities, no air bubbles and excellent stability.
Silicone raw materials within this hardness range strike a balance between soft conformability and structural support. Unlike ordinary silicone of varying hardness, they avoid poor adhesion and hollow lamination caused by excessive hardness, as well as compression deformation, collapse and poor rebound resulting from insufficient softness.
The raw materials undergo precise formulation modification, with high‑temperature‑resistant additives, tear‑resistance reinforcing agents and anti‑aging stabilizers incorporated to fundamentally improve the silicone matrix’s high‑temperature tolerance, mechanical tensile strength and anti‑fatigue performance.
In addition, a high‑strength dedicated cloth‑reinforced skeleton layer is deeply integrated with the silicone material. This completely addresses the drawbacks of pure silicone sheets, such as easy stretching, tearing and poor dimensional stability. The finished product combines silicone’s merits of high‑temperature resistance and high elasticity with the cloth’s toughness and deformation‑resistance, making it suitable for industrial working conditions of high‑frequency and high‑pressure continuous operation.

III. Production Process
The product adopts the mature, high‑precision calendering forming process with a drum‑type vulcanizer, combined with standardized pre‑treatment procedures. The whole process is under refined control to guarantee stable quality and consistent performance of finished products. The specific production procedures are as follows:
Raw Material Compounding & Modification
Special high‑temperature‑resistant silicone raw materials of 40‑80 Shore A are selected. High‑temperature‑resistant, tear‑resistant and anti‑aging additives are mixed in precise proportions. Thorough compounding is carried out in closed mixing equipment to ensure uniform composition and stable performance of raw materials, eliminating impurities and performance deviations.
Cloth Pre‑treatment
High‑strength reinforcing cloth undergoes cleaning, activation and anti‑slip treatment to improve bonding strength between cloth and silicone. It prevents delamination, blistering and peeling in subsequent service and enhances overall structural stability.
Drum‑type Calendering & Lamination
Continuous calendering forming is performed by a professional drum‑type vulcanizer. Compounded silicone material is evenly coated onto both upper and lower surfaces of the reinforcing cloth. Precise roller pressure controls the thickness and flatness of the sheet, achieving seamless bonding and integral forming between silicone and cloth without inter‑layer gaps.
Constant‑temperature Vulcanization & Curing
Constant‑temperature vulcanization inside drum‑type equipment enables sufficient cross‑linking and curing of silicone. It stabilizes hardness, elasticity, high‑temperature resistance and tear resistance. The cured product features compact structure and optimized physical properties.
Precision Trimming, Cutting & Inspection
Formed sheets go through cooling‑setting, surface finishing and edge trimming to remove edge defects. Multiple performance tests including hardness, thickness, tear resistance and high‑temperature resistance are conducted. Qualified products are slitted and cut to ensure consistent performance and qualified quality for each batch.
Different from conventional compression molding, this process enables continuous mass production. Finished products feature uniform thickness, superior flatness, seamless joints and consistent toughness. It effectively solves common drawbacks of traditional products, such as large thickness tolerance, local tearing tendency and uneven rebound performance.
IV. Product Application Scenarios
Benefiting from core advantages of high toughness, tear resistance, high‑temperature resistance, superior sealing performance and resistance to repeated compression, this product is mainly used for sealing, cushioning, heat insulation and pressure equalization in various hot‑press and laminating equipment. Key application fields are listed below:
Photovoltaic Industry (Core Application)
Specially designed for photovoltaic laminators and photovoltaic hot‑press machines, serving as sealing gaskets, cushion pads and pressure equalization pads. In the lamination process of PV modules, it withstands high‑temperature and high‑pressure lamination conditions, transfers pressure evenly, and eliminates bubbles, micro‑cracks and indentations on modules. Meanwhile, it seals the lamination chamber to prevent temperature and pressure leakage, ensuring lamination quality and stable production of PV modules, and is suitable for mass assembly‑line production of photovoltaic components.
Electrical & Electronic Hot‑press Industry
Applied to FPC flexible circuit board hot‑press machines, PCB board laminators and component bonding hot‑press machines. Functioning as high‑temperature‑resistant cushion‑sealing gaskets, they buffer impact force during pressing, distribute pressure evenly and protect precision electronic workpieces. Featuring high‑temperature anti‑stick performance, they guarantee high accuracy for precision bonding processes.
Hot‑press for Rubber‑Plastic, Leather & Composite Materials
Used in hot‑press forming of rubber‑plastic products, leather embossing and thermal‑bonding equipment for composite panels. It delivers heat insulation, cushioning, sealing and anti‑adhesion effects, improves surface flatness of formed products, and extends service life of sealing components for hot‑press equipment.
General‑Purpose Industrial Sealing & Cushioning
It can be used as high‑temperature‑resistant sealing gaskets, shock‑absorbing cushions and thermal‑insulating layers for diverse high‑temperature hot‑press and mould‑press equipment. It meets sealing and cushioning requirements under high‑temperature & high‑pressure working conditions across hardware, building materials, new‑energy and other industries. It replaces easily‑worn ordinary silicone and rubber pads, reducing replacement costs for equipment consumables.
