Structure & Types

Shape & Size: Common types include vaginal and rectal probes. Vaginal probes fit the female physiological curvature, with a diameter of about 2-4 cm and length of 8-12 cm to suit different body types. Rectal probes are for male pelvic floor rehabilitation or female cases with rectal complications, featuring a shorter and thicker design. Abdominal patches are also available to assist in stimulating deep muscles, ideal for patients with mild muscle relaxation.

Probe Types: Single-head and double-head options are provided. Single-head probes are suitable for unilateral pelvic floor muscle treatment, while double-head probes can treat bilateral muscles simultaneously. Some specially designed probes have surface protrusions or depressions for more precise stimulation and massage.

Core Functions

Muscle Exercise: Enables active contraction and relaxation of pelvic floor muscles after insertion, enhancing muscle strength and endurance to improve urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

Muscle Relaxation: Helps relax tense pelvic floor muscles and relieve muscle spasms via appropriate movement or electrical stimulation.

Muscle Rehabilitation: Delivers targeted physical therapy for pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, injury and post-surgical recovery, promoting muscle repair and restoration.

Muscle Assessment: Allows doctors/therapists to observe pelvic floor muscle contraction and relaxation, evaluate muscle function and health status, and formulate personalized treatment plans accordingly.

Clinical Applications

Postnatal Rehabilitation: Restores pelvic floor muscle tension in postnatal women, improving vaginal relaxation and sexual dysfunction.

Urinary Incontinence Treatment: Enhances urethral sphincter function through electrical stimulation to reduce urine leakage.

Pelvic Pain Relief: Relieves pelvic pain by promoting the relaxation of pelvic floor muscles.

Sexual Dysfunction Treatment: Boosts blood circulation of sexual organs to improve sexual dysfunction issues.
