This accessory is a core interventional medical silicone consumable for pelvic floor dysfunction rehabilitation, exclusively designed for postpartum female pelvic floor muscle repair, pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence diagnosis & treatment. Integrating the dual core structure of medical-grade silicone balloon and pelvic floor electrode, it is available in vaginal and rectal probe versions, compatible with mainstream physiotherapy methods such as pelvic floor electrical stimulation, biofeedback, and balloon resistance training. It is in contact with human cavity mucosa throughout use, complies with medical biocompatibility and sterility standards, and serves as a core matching accessory for postpartum rehabilitation departments, gynecology departments and physical therapy departments.
Core Material Properties The main body is made of medical-grade high-elasticity silicone rubber (medical conductive silicone rubber for electrode contact areas). The balloon and probe shell are integrally molded, complying with medical transcatheter interventional consumable standards including ISO 9001 and FDA. It is latex-free, plasticizer-free and free of harmful substance leaching, with core properties tailored to the clinical needs of postpartum pelvic floor repair:
Ultra-Soft & Skin-Friendly, Excellent Cavity Adaptability
Medical silicone with a Shore hardness of 20°~30° features a mucosa-like soft texture. The probe surface is smooth and burr-free, and the balloon forms a rounded arc after inflation, resulting in low insertion resistance and close fit to the physiological curvature of the vagina/rectum. It greatly reduces discomfort in postpartum women, adapting to the characteristics of postpartum pelvic floor muscle relaxation and cavity sensitivity.
Conductive Silicone Rubber, Precise Electrical Stimulation Conduction
The electrode area is made of medical conductive silicone rubber with stable conductivity and low impedance. It can accurately transmit electrical stimulation pulses when attached to pelvic floor muscles, with no risk of skin burns caused by local current concentration. Meanwhile, it resists repeated wiping and disinfection with no attenuation of conductivity.
High-Elasticity & Pressure-Resistant Balloon, Adapted to Resistance Training
The silicone balloon has a tensile strength of ≥8MPa, enabling precise pressure control of 0~50ml after inflation with no risk of air leakage or bulging. It can simulate the resistance of pelvic floor muscle contraction, adapting to the clinical needs of "active contraction - resistance feedback" in biofeedback training. The balloon returns to its original shape after deflation with no permanent deformation.
Resistant to High-Frequency Medical Disinfection, Sterility Compliant
Withstands mainstream medical disinfection methods including ethylene oxide sterilization, alcohol wiping, iodophor disinfection and 121℃ high-temperature autoclaving. The silicone remains undeformed, unaged and non-sticky after repeated disinfection; the conductive silicone rubber has no delamination and no decline in conductivity. The finished product is available with independent sterile packaging, ready for use upon opening to eliminate cross-infection.
Temperature & Medium Resistance, Adapted to Clinical Environments
The operating temperature range is -40℃~200℃, compatible with the working temperature of physiotherapy equipment (36~42℃) and high disinfection temperature. It resists immersion in human secretions, medical coupling gel and normal saline, with no swelling, degradation or leachables to contaminate the cavity.
Excellent Biocompatibility, No Safety Risks
Passes medical cavity mucosa contact safety tests, with no irritation or sensitization. Even in contact with slightly damaged postpartum cavity mucosa, there is no additional infection risk, complying with the core safety requirements for postpartum rehabilitation consumables.
Tear-Resistant & Easy to Clean, Long Service Life
The silicone rubber has a tear strength of ≥25kN/m, resisting slight pulling and extrusion during clinical operations. The smooth, pore-free surface leaves no stains or disinfectant residue after disinfection and can be cleaned by simple wiping.
