The sealing component of the automatic steering instrument is a key component to ensure the stable operation of the ship's steering system. Its core function is to prevent the intrusion or leakage of hydraulic oil, water, dust and other media, and ensure the accuracy of precision operations such as rudder angle adjustment, pressure rudder control, and correction response. This component needs to adapt to the vibration, temperature changes (-20 ℃~60 ℃), and salt spray corrosion environment during ship navigation. It is commonly used in the sealing scenarios of servo hydraulic pipeline interfaces, rudder angle sensor connections, and automatic rudder control modules.
Classification and Applicable Scenarios of Sealing Components
Static sealing component
O-ring seal: Made of nitrile rubber (NBR) or fluororubber (FKM) material, used to fix interfaces (such as the connection surface between hydraulic valve blocks and shells), with a pressure tolerance of ≤ 20MPa, suitable for hydraulic oil and seawater media.
Gasket sealing: Metal coated gaskets or flexible graphite gaskets are used for flange type pipeline connections, suitable for high temperature (≤ 600 ℃) and high pressure (≤ 100MPa) working conditions.
Dynamic sealing component
Mechanical seal: applied to the transmission shaft of the servo motor, using stainless steel (316) and silicon carbide friction pair, with a leakage rate of ≤ 5mL/h, suitable for continuous rotational motion of the ship's hydraulic system.
Oil seal: made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material, used for sealing the reciprocating shaft of rudder angle sensors, wear-resistant and low friction coefficient, suitable for temperature range of -180 ℃~260 ℃
